Report: PERN readies for end of Russian oil supplies via Druzhba

WARSAW, Jun 28 (PRIME) -- Polish oil pipelines operator PERN is preparing to stop receiving Russian oil via the Druzhba pipeline, CEO Igor Wasilewski said on Tuesday as quoted by news agency PAP.

“After watching the way the oil market develops, the fuel market develops, we have expanded our storage facilities for oil and fuel products. And the answer to the question if the infrastructure is ready… is: yes, we are ready,” he said.

The E.U.’s sixth package of anti-Russian sanctions, released earlier in June, envisages a gradual embargo on Russian oil.
